Which calculator answers which question

Start with the decision you have to take next. Budgeting a hire needs the employer cost calculator; renewing or signing an EOR contract needs the fee audit; a restructuring needs the severance calculator; a business case for moving work offshore needs the nearshore comparator; and the question "should we just set up our own company?" is what the break-even analyzer is for.

The formulas behind the tools

Every calculator states its assumptions under the result, including which benchmark it uses where a figure depends on your contract or the authority’s annual notice.

Sharing, printing and sending a result

  • Shareable link. The address bar updates as you type, for example /calculators/employer-cost/?country=TT&salary=15000&headcount=12. "Copy shareable link" copies it.
  • PDF brief. "Print / save PDF brief" prints only the calculator and a branded header with the date and the link; choose "Save as PDF" in the print dialog.
  • RFP. "Get direct regional EOR & payroll quotes for this calculation" copies the island, headcount, payroll and result summary into the request form on the same page.

FAQs

Do the calculators store my data?

No. They run entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent unless you submit the request form.

How accurate are the results?

They apply the 2026 statutory rates, ceilings and severance tiers published by each authority, with benchmark exchange rates. They are budgeting estimates; payroll should be run on the authority’s current tables.

Can I change the exchange rate?

The employer cost calculator lets you enter salary in local currency, which removes FX from the statutory math. The EOR audit lets you change the FX spread. Benchmark rates are shown with every result.

Which islands does the severance calculator cover?

Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Guyana, the Dominican Republic, The Bahamas, St. Lucia and the Cayman Islands.
