1. What we collect
- Request form: name, work email, company, optional phone, the service, island, headcount band, payroll estimate, notes and any calculation summary you choose to send.
- Technical data: the IP address of a form submission (used to prevent abuse) and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security.
- Calculators: nothing. They run in your browser; inputs appear only in your own address bar.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers, and the form has no CAPTCHA service.
2. Why we use it
To answer your request, to obtain quotes from operators you ask us to contact, and to keep the service secure. The legal bases are your request (pre-contract steps), our legitimate interest in running and protecting the service, and your consent where we ask for it.
4. Retention
Requests are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact, then deleted, unless a contract requires longer. Security logs are kept for a short period by the hosting provider.
5. Your rights
Under the Jamaica Data Protection Act 2020, the EU and UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA and similar laws, you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to processing, or ask which operators received it. Email hello@caribbeanhr.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your data protection authority, including the Office of the Information Commissioner in Jamaica.
6. International transfers and security
Data may be processed outside your country by our hosting and email providers, under contractual safeguards. Transport is encrypted (HTTPS) and access to requests is limited to the desk.
7. Changes
We will post any change on this page with a new effective date.
